Train Dispatcher

Train Dispatcher est un logiciel de simulation pour les contrôleurs de la circulation ferroviaire (CCF). Train Dispatcher simule des "territoires" (subdivisions) en "Commande centralisée de la circulation" (CCC).

Le logiciel Train Dispatcher est disponible via le web sur le site de la compagnie SignalCC.

Après avoir installé le logiciel, vous pouvez télécharger les cartes des subdivisions. Ces cartes montrent en détail la couverture des territoires que j'ai faits.

Ensuite, vous téléchargez le territoire que vous voulez simuler.

Le territoire nommé "La Pratique" n'est pas un territoire comme tel, mais plutôt un fichier d'exercices. Vous y apprendrez toutes les techniques nécessaires pour l'utilisation deTrain Dispatcher.

Note importante: Comme je ne travaille pas pour les chemins de fer, il m'est très difficile d'obtenir des informations à jour sur ces territoires. Les horaires des trains sont donc approximatifs. Cependant, ces territoires ont été soumis à des CCF du CN ainsi que des ingénieurs de locomotive du CN et de VIA et ont été jugés "excellents". Les territoires qui ne sont pas de moi sont notés ainsi.

Vous avez besoin de Winzip pour décompresser les territoires. Train Dispatcher n'est pas compatible Mac, sauf avec l'utilisation d'un logiciel émulateur tel que VirtualPC ou SoftWindows.

Chaque territoire comporte une particularité intéressante, notée dans le tableau. De plus, une évaluation de la difficulté du territoire a été ajouté.

Difficulté: La difficulté du territoire est évalué selon les critères suivants:

• Difficulté de maintenir les trains de passager à l'heure.
• Volume du trafic.
• Voie simple ou double.
• Manoeuvre spéciale à effectuer sur certains trains (split, merge, train en marche arrière avec "work order", impossibilité de donner un "fleet" à certains signaux...)

La difficulté est noté selon les barèmes suivants:

	Territoire très facile. Recommandé pour les débutants.
	Territoire facile. Recommandé pour les débutants.
	Territoire moyen. Recommandé pour les gens ayant déjà utilisé Train Dispatcher.
	Territoire difficile. Plusieurs simultations requises afin de bien maîtriser le territoire.
	Territoire très difficile. Bonne expérience de régulateur avec Train Dispatcher requise.

Train Dispatcher

Train Dispatcher is a simulation software used to pretend to be a Rail Traffic Controller (RTC). TD simulates "territories" (subdivisions) controled by "Centralized Traffic Control" (CTC) method.

The software Train Dispatcher is available on the web at SignalCC.

After Train Dispatcher is installed, you can download the maps of territories. Those maps will help you choosing which territory you want to simulate.

Then you download the territory you want to simulate.

The territory named "The Practice" is not a territory, but a file full of technics and exercices to learn how Train Dispatcher work.

Notice: I do not work for a railway company. Getting access to such informations is very difficult for me. Schedules and infos about the territories are approx. But some RTC at CN and locomotive engineers at CN and VIA Rail has played with my territories and the found them "excellents".

You will Winzip to unzip the file. TD is not mac compatible, except for those running an emulator software such as VirtualPC or SoftWindows.

Difficulty: The difficulty of a territory is evaluated on these criterias:

• How though is to keep passenger train on schedule.
• Amount of traffic.
• Signle or double track.
• Special move to perform on some train (split, merge, reversing train with "work order", some signals impossible to fleet...)

The levels of difficulties are:

	Very easy territory. Recommanded for beginners.
	Easy territory. Recommanded for beginners
	Average territory. Recommanded for people already using Train Dispatcher.
	Tough territory. Recommanded for experienced user of Train Dispatcher, because some special move are required.
	Very tough territory. Good experience as a RTC with Train Dispatcher required.
